In our last meeting, VBS members beat Aliyah 9 to 7 in a close battle. This time, it was also a close battle, back and forth several times.
But Aliyah scored 4 in the bottom of the 6th to break a 9-9 tie to win the game 13-9.
Special kudos to Steve Pollack, who made a great tag at home, and later snagged a line drive at first and caught a runner off-base for an unassisted double play.
Kudos also to Jason Shapiro, who homered in the first to score three.

Beth Am Bees outscored Judea by a score of 27-7. Several players played well offensiely for Beth Am, including: Matt Spooner went 4 for 5 with 2 HRs, Josh Feldman had an HR, and Aaron Dem had several hits as well.
